Forthcoming Crown Commercial Service webinars
The UK Government's Executive Agency responsible for commercial and procurement activity, the Crown Commercial Service ("CCS"), has announced three forthcoming webinars (hosted via the WebEx platform) designed to boost supplier engagement with UK public sector and bidding, particularly by SMEs, for Government contracts and frameworks.
- "How I sold to the public sector", Tuesday, 24th October 2017 12.30pm
Presented by Pamela Cook, Managing Director of Infoshare a software company that has successfully sold to UK central government departments and local authorities. Pamela is a member of the Cabinet Office's Business Advisory Panel and in this webinar she will focus on looking at how companies, particularly SMEs, can bid for public sector contracts, both directly and via Tier One suppliers.

2. "An introduction to Contracts Finder", Tuesday 14th November 12.30pm
Contracts Finder is the UK Government's main platform on which contract opportunities valued at over £10,000 in value are published. This webinar will be exploring and demonstrating the functionality of the Contracts Finder website and how suppliers interested in bidding for contracts with the UK government and its agencies can utilise the site.
[NB the Devolved Administrations of the UK each maintain separate public procurement portals at eSourcing NI, Public Contracts Scotland, and Sell2Wales respectively. These portals will not be covered by the CCS webinar above]

3. "How to win work with the public sector", Tuesday 12th December 2017 12.30pm
Hosted by Farooq Mohammed, the founder of es-p, a company he formed in the summer of 2012 to support businesses, large and small, to secure contracts with the public sector. In this webinar, Farooq will offer top tips on identifying contracts, preparing bids, and securing contract wins.
